Turn your luck around: Reversals on ACH payroll credits

Author

Listed:
  • Cole, Mary Kate

Abstract

With the extensive use of electronic payment to staff and the encouragement of further participation by payroll departments within many corporations, this paper looks at the Automated Clearing House (ACH) Network and the challenges it faces, particularly with respect to reversals on ACH credits. The ACH Network provides an efficient, cost effective payment network that benefits all participants, but there are issues that may need to be taken outside of the network for resolution.
