Abstract

The concluding part of this paper provides an overview of the importance of digitalising payments in an economy and the role the acceptance infrastructure can play in that process. By using the data from Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructure (CPMI) countries, and then using more detailed data from India, a number of empirical analysis are done and conclusions arrived at. Part one of this paper was published in Journal of Digital Banking, Volume 1, Number 3.
