Abstract

In the work of any organization dealing with construction research, design and construction it is necessary to follow a strict sequence of legally regulated and established activities. This process is accompanied by a significant volume of document circulation. In the present study it is proposed instead of working with traditional documents to move to a digital organization of document circulation management through the use of electronic documents. This allows direct registration and input into computers of primary and intermediate data from business operations at their occurrence, without being registered on paper (hard copy) as well as automatic processing and machine storage of the main part of the intermediate and final information. Systems based on non-documentary information technology are defined as document circulation management web systems. The aim of the author of the article is to present the possibilities for digital document circulation management in construction companies.
