Cultural intelligence among Indonesian students: Role of international experiences and their impact on the development of social network and adaptive performance

Abstract

This research aims to examine the factors that influence the Cultural Intelligence, and its impact on Social Networks Development and Adaptive Performance among Indonesian students. This study was an explanatory research that explained the correlation between variables by using a quantitative approach. By using purposive sampling technique, this study involves 133 students from Indonesia who had experiences abroad. The analysis technique used in this study was Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results showed that International Exposure does not affect to Cultural Intelligence. On the other hand, this research proves that Cultural Intelligence influencing Development of Social Network and Adaptive Performance.
