Abstract

Данное исследование посвящено анализу взаимодействия между инфляцией и экономическим ростом в Казахстане в период с 2000 года по 2018 год посредством применения пороговых уравнений. Данный класс моделей является широко используемым в эмпирической литературе, так как все больше исследований подтверждают тезис о существовании нелинейной зависимости между инфляцией и ростом экономики. С учетом включения контрольных переменных, в частности темпов роста рабочей силы, отношения инвестиций к ВВП, цены на нефть марки Brent, было выявлено, что уровень годовой инфляции выше 9% приводит к замедлению темпов экономического роста в Казахстане. При этом, влияние инфляции ниже данного порогового значения на долгосрочную динамику реального выпуска является статистически незначимым.
