Abstract

Raising the quality of life of people and depending on this raising the levels of satisfaction is one of the basic goals of all public institutions and organizations. Determination of the needs of the people and elimination of deficiencies in this subject will increase the level of satisfaction of the people. This study, which aimed at determining the extent to which this target could be approached in the southeastern Anatolia provinces, examined the levels of satisfaction with public services for people where live in nine provinces by multidimensional scaling analysis. With the findings of the analysis, comparative inferences have been obtained regarding to social security institution services, health services, education services, judicial services, public order services, and transportation services for provinces of Southeast Anatolia region. When the satisfaction of the public services of the Southeastern Anatolia Region is taken into consideration, it is determined that Şırnak is in a very different position from the general tendency, while the result is that there are significant differences in terms of provinces.
