Abstract

The article considers the theoretical basis for the organization of state administration physical culture and sports at the regional level. It is determined that the strategic goal of state administration physical culture and sports at the regional level is to achieve a controlled system of physical culture and sports of such a level of development that would in full measure would ensure that the needs of territorial communities and individual citizens in maintaining health, maintaining the highest standards of efficiency, quality improvement and quality of life, satisfaction of spiritual, intellectual, and physical needs through practice certain activities etc.
