Some aspects of formation and development of informational culture

This article investigates the development of the information society. The emergence of the information society is inextricably linked with knowledge of the fundamental role of information in social development, consideration of broader socio-cultural context of such phenomena as information resources, new information technologies, information. Of particular importance in the information society organization acquires information education and increase personal information culture. An integral part of the information culture is the knowledge of new information technology and the ability to use it for automating routine operations and in unusual situations requiring unconventional creativity. Today there is every reason to talk about forming a new information culture, which may be part of the general culture of mankind. It may be the basis of knowledge of the information environment, the laws of its operations, the ability to navigate the information flows. According to scientists, information culture still is not an indicator of the general, but rather a professional culture, but eventually will be an important factor in the development of each individual. In the era of information society basic social section is on the border between those who can work with the information and have it and those who do not have this opportunity. Between these two conglomerates formed what was called "digital divide" or "digital divide". As you can see, most of these terms indicate that the bulk of information people are now more and more get through computer, digital devices. The social significance of the subject is increasingly determined by the degree of awareness, serving as the main social wealth, replacing the wayside production of material goods and possession of money. Concluded that the information inequality creates conflicts between people of the same generation, people of different generations, exacerbating social tensions between the population of developed countries and between developed and developing countries. This reinforces economic inequality between individuals, groups and countries.
