Abstract

Contemporary multinationals represents foreign direct investments, which are implanted in different countries and covering numerous sectors. Multinationals have financial capital and an international strategy that requires adaptation to local particularities. They can have both economic benefits and unbalanced effects for host countries. Growing internationalization of economic activity constitute new competitive threats, and the existence of new opportunities.
