Abstract

The paper presents some aspects regarding adoptata strategy to resolve the crisis in Cyprus financial system and the effects of such approaches used the euro area, but especially on the banking sector in the European Union. From our perspective we considered as an important thing to understand what happened in Cyprus, how to intervene in this crisis to be able to appreciate necessary changes (if they are really necessary) in the banking system construction, so that banks can adopt such measures by the resolution of future banking crises in the euro area and improving of banking system situation, in the sense that it have not to be necessary a new intervention into the future.
