Abstract

Research, development and innovation (R+D+i) carried out in a country are critical factors in determining its economic growth, level of well-being and international competitiveness. In addition, all these factors are of great importance for the survival of companies as they help to place them in a suitable position to face the new challenges that arise in an increasingly competitive and globalized market. Its strategic importance for countries has led governments to encourage these activities. In the case of Jalisco, the federal and state governments do so from CONACYT and SICYT, respectively, through the Mixed Funds. The research presented here has the purpose of showing the findings of a university intervention in agro-industrial companies in Jalisco. Specifically in the implementation of a management system that derives in the planning of technology-based R&D&i projects. The frame of reference is the experience in the Project "ITESO, 2017 intervention model for the technological reconversion of companies (MIIRTE)", supported by the Mixed Fund CONACYT-Government of the State of Jalisco.
