Inventário macroeconômico do governo FHC

Abstract

Neste trabalho, faz-se um balanço geral macroeconômico do governo Fernando Henrique Cardoso, a partir de uma análise descritiva do comportamento das principais variáveis - objetivo das políticas econômicas, indicadores de finanças públicas e de vulnerabilidade externa. Conclui-se que os prejuízos para o país, decorrentes da política econômica exclusivista de FHC, foram extremamente elevados, em face dos resultados alcançados em termos de estabilização monetária, e que o seu grande legado ao sucessor foi uma crise econômica difícil de administrar.
