Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the wage determinants for men and women of the permanent agricultural sector, employees in the formal and non-formal markets in the years 2002, 2005 and 2012. We used data from PNAD (National Household Sample Survey) and the Heckman correction as a method in order to correct the sample selection bias, which was calculated through the multinomial logit model. The results in general show that the productive characteristics associated with human capital increase workers’ wages on a larger scale to the non-formal sector
