Efektywność i konkurencyjność rodzinnych gospodarstw rolnych w Podregionie Bydgoskim

Abstract

Celem artykułu jest określenie zdolności gospodarstw do rozwoju, mierzonej ich efektywnością techniczną i finansową oraz wielkością inwestycji netto. Badaniami objęto gospodarstwa z podregionu bydgoskiego (byłe województwo bydgoskie), które przed akcesją do Unii Europejskiej korzystały z kredytów preferencyjnych. Jednocześnie prowadziły w latach 2004-2015 nieprzerwanie rachunkowość w systemie Polski FADN. Efektywność techniczną gospodarstw określono wykorzystując nieparametryczną metodę DEA. Natomiast do oceny sytuacji finansowej analizach gospodarstw wykorzystano indeks tworzenia wartości – VCI. W celu określenia zdolności gospodarstw do rozwoju (gospodarstwa konkurencyjne) wykorzystano zmodyfikowaną macierz Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Z przeprowadzonych badań wynika, że w najlepszej sytuacji były gospodarstwa, które zaliczono do grupy liderów, gospodarstwa te charakteryzowały się najwyższą efektywnością techniczną i finansową, a także największym poziomem inwestycji netto. W najtrudniejszej sytuacji znajdowały się gospodarstwa zagrożone. Pomimo że efektywność techniczna tych gospodarstw była wysoka, to ograniczenia rozwoju wynikały z małej skali produkcji. Konkurencyjność gospodarstw rolnych wiąże się ściśle z ich powierzchnią.
