Ubezpieczeniowe instrumenty wpierania gospodarstw rolnych w zakresie upraw

Abstract

Rolnictwo jest jedną z podstawowych działalności człowieka. Na działalność tę wpływa wiele czynników. Jednym z ważniejszych ryzyk w działalności rolniczej jest klimat oraz warunki pogodowe grożące uprawom. Susza, gradobicia, ulewy pojawiające się w ostatnich latach negatywnie wpływają na wyniki gospodarstw. Na rynku dostępnych jest wiele instrumentów ubezpieczeniowych, które pozwalają na znaczne ograniczenie negatywnych skutków tych ryzyk. Dane statystyczne wskazują, że w Polsce w ostatnich latach maleje odsetek ubezpieczonych upraw. Dzieje się tak, mimo wprowadzenia dopłat dla towarzystw ubezpieczeniowych, które wypłaciły odszkodowanie. Przyczyn tego zjawiska jest wiele, ale do głównych zalicza się: wysokość składki, nieświadomość prawną prowadzących gospodarstwa rolne oraz bezpośrednie instrumenty wsparcia rolników.
