Arroz o Soja: ¿Es esa realmente la cuestión?

Abstract

Tanto el arroz como la soja producidos en el país se exportan casi en su totalidad. Esto hace que el resultado comercial de ambos cultivos sea muy dependiente de los mercados internacionales. Este artículo pone foco en las particularidades de los mercados de arroz y soja. Al destacar sus similitudes y diferencias respecto a su evolución histórica y a los fundamentos que operan en uno y otro es posible sacar algunas conclusiones de utilidad. Aunque el comportamiento de los mercados obedece a factores fuera del control del productor, una mejor comprensión de los mismos puede ayudar a tomar decisiones con un mayor grado de información
