Abstract

A 174 magyarországi kistérségből a 33 leghátrányosabb helyzetűben él a lakosság egytizede. ------------------------------------------ Ever since the 1990s, discrepancies between regions and micro-regions have increased, despite governmental attempts to achieve a uniform level of development. In Hungary, one-tenth of the population lives in the 33 most disadvantaged micro-regions out of the 174. They are usually located peripherally, both internally and externally. The social green energy programme we have developed could improve the situation of these micro-regions. Social and economic benefits from the programme would help the most disadvantaged layers of society the most. Our green energy programme scenario described three versions of the economic and social parameters and their budgetary effects. Considering developments in the energy market, the programme would provide increasing impetus to local development for a long time to come.
