Abstract

Az emlékkonferencia bevezető előadása a közelmúlt évtizedek szakaszaival és szereplőivel foglalkozva megállapítja, hogy a 60-as évek derekán az agrárszférában megkezdett új gazdasági mechanizmus beváltotta a hozzá fűzött reményeket, amit a FAO akkori főigazgatója, Eduard Saouma követésre méltónak tartott a világ sok országa számára. A korszak hazai közreműködői tanultak másoktól, saját hibáikból, integrációkat szerveztek, felismerték, hogy az élelmiszer a magyarországi kőolaj. A közelmúlt értékelését tiszteletből és a jövő iránti felelősségből szükséges elvégezni, megemlékezve a személyekről is. ----------------- The opening address of a memorial conference dealing with periods of recent decades and their personalities states that the new mechanism introduced in the agricultural sector in the late 60’s fulfi lled all its expectations. This was acknowledged by the then director of FAO, Eduard Saouma, commenting that it was an example that would be worth following in many countries of the world. Contributors to that age learned from others, from their own mistakes, organised integrations and recognised that food is Hungary’s oil resource. The governments of recent past should be evaluated out of respect and responsibility for future, remembering also personalities.
