Abstract

Currently, the hydropower industry is facing a serious problem – an increase in events that halt production, resulting in significant direct and indirect damage, hence the need to seek ways to transfer the insurance costs. As a result of the advanced age of the equipment and interruptions that occur during the production process, it is important to develop a model to help equipment owners to establish damages needed for the incurred costs.
