Abstract

One of the most stringent problems related to the managerial activity is the forecast of the level of demand (in order to ground the structure of the production that is to be manufactured in the following period) and of the prices (the managers need to be aware of the maximum level of the price at they need to report with the costs and the profit margin). One of the information sources for the managers is the economical and financial analysis of the turnover. The application of the methodology of the economical and financial analysis is highly supported by the applications of the information technology. The evolution of the modern decision support software systems based on data warehouses allows the integration of the methods and models of economical and financial analysis for the processing of the raw data.
