Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify and analyse the crediting risk of Banca Transilvania SA, on the period of time between the peak year of credit, 2008, and the present moment. Based on the practical experience accumulated by Banca Transilvania SA, we aimed at the identification and determination of the factors that constitute warning signs in the ongoing of the credits and which lead to failing in keeping the contract's clauses. The results obtained after comparing the credit rate-setting valid for the surveyed period reveal the fact that the condition of credit allowance have roughened and there were created conditions for the backing of the existing credits, in view of decreasing the credit risk and maintaining a valid portfolio of credits.
