Abstract

Due to the activities the Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Chamber develops, it has acquired an important role in the process of the economic development, having a decisive task in enlarging the activities of enterprises, agriculture and services and intern and extern trade both at the local and national level. The Chamber is a representative and consulting organization for the economic agents, ensures contacts with similar foreign bodies, organizes economic and information meetings, marketing studies, supports to find and contact the virtual partners (firms or bodies at the national level or abroad) and it also supports activities for professional training. In this field the Chamber had the initiative and put into practice the project “Start Management Training” for developing and improving the human resources both at the Chamber level and at the economic agents level. The project has as financement the Program for Human Resources Development PROGRES, financed by PHARE program of the European Union.
