Abstract

Metronidazole is an antibiotic and is useful for antibacterial and antiprotozoal medication. In this research work, the impact of the Trivedi Effect® (Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment) on the physicochemical properties of metronidazole was evaluated using the modern analytical technique. Metronidazole sample was divided into two parts, one part of metronidazole was considered as a control sample (no Biofield Energy Treatment was provided); however, the other part of metronidazole, was exposed to the Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment remotely by a well-known Biofield Energy Healer, Alice Branton and termed as a treated sample. The peak intensities, as well as crystallite sizes of the treated metronidazole were significantly altered ranging from -97.25% to 463% and -83.18% to 123.79%, respectively; however, the average crystallite size was significantly decreased by 14.91% compared with the control sample.
