Cultural values in eastern anatolia and southeast Anatolia, Turkey

Abstract

Anatolia is one of the rare places where the richness of many cultures, the civilizations that stretched back thousands of years, and the richest mosaic of the world of beliefs are at the same time. Eastern Anatolia and Southeastern Anatolia have been chosen as the study area in this study aimed at cultural values about preservation and survival of urban-cultural and natural heritage. Kars, Ağrı, Van, Batman, Adıyaman, Mardin and Urfa are exemplified and visual material and explanations that Anatolia is the preeminent, civilizations and religions are expressed.
