Abstract

Silica nanoparticles have been prepared by sol-gel method and peptization process. The silica nanoparticles were obtained by hydrolysis of tetraethyl-orthosilicate (TEOS) in ethanol but variation in parameters improved particles size from 290 nm to 85 nm in sol-gel process and 190 nm by peptization process using nitric acid as electrolyte...
