Abstract

This paper aimed at presenting and investigating the authenticity of the early Islamic scholars' opinions about the well-known nowadays transaction called al-Murabaha upon the purchaser’s order transaction. The researcher used the descriptive analytical methodology and the Hadithi methodology to achieve that goal. He arrived at many conclusions. The most important of which is the fact that majority of early Islamic scholars prohibited this kind of transaction if it includes a negotiation or a promise of profit. The researcher recommended that the Islamic jurisprudence bodies and organizations should re-discuss and review the ruling they decided for this transaction because of the insufficiency of the research presented to these bodies and organizations.
