Abstract

-- يقع الكتاب في ستة أبواب رئيسية. ويؤكد المؤلف في المقدمة حقيقة أن نشأة الإدارة العلمية في بداية ظهور المجتمع الصناعي في القرن الماضي لم تكن هي البداية الحقيقية للممارسات الإدارية بل هي أمر موغل في القدم. أي أن العملية الإدارية فيما قبل ظهور الادارة العلمية الحديثة كانت فنًا يعتمد على الصفات الذاتية والمواهب الشخصية للفرد أكثر منها علمًا يعتمد على أسس وقواعد محددة.
