Abstract

-- وفق الباحث في اختيار موضوعه، فبالإضافة إلى أهميته العلمية في حد ذاته، من حيث الحاجة إلى تحديد مفهوم "الحاجات الأساسية" وبيان موقف الفكر الاقتصادي الإسلامي منها، هناك أهمية عملية تتمثل في الحاجة الماسة إلى تحديد الأهداف الممكنة والمرغوب فيها للتنمية في بلد إسلامي، وإلى مراجعة الخطط التي انتهجتها بعض البلاد الإسلامية أخيرًا لتحقيق التنمية في ضوء تلك الأهداف. والبحث يتم عن وعي واضح بتلك الأهمية العلمية والعملية، فضلاً عن إدراك سليم بأن مسألة "توفير الحاجات الأساسية" تتعلق أساسًا بقضايا "التوزيع"، ولكنها في الوقت نفسه تترك آثارًا مهمة من الناحية الاقتصادية إيجابية وسلبية على شؤون "الإنتاج".
