Abstract

This article aims to explore the perception of quality assurance in higher education by internal stakeholders. Data were collected through a documentary survey and synthesized using content analysis. The analysis revealed that the stakeholders considered have different attitudes to quality assurance, ranging from acceptance to resistance. In addition, they perceive many barriers to its implementation in the sector. The main contribution of this research is to lay a theoretical foundation for understanding the positions adopted by internal stakeholders towards quality assurance in higher education.
