The Impact of Green Core Competencies on Green Image and Green Innovation-an Indian Perspective

Abstract

The main purpose of the paper is to examine the impact of green core competencies on green innovation and green image in relation to the automobile industry in India. Data was collected from leading automobile industries. Data was collected through questionnaire method and personal interview method. The questionnaire was divided into five parts; the first part consisted of introduction about the company this introduction was gathered through personal interview method. The second part consisted of the measurement of green core competence, the third part consisted of the measurement of green product innovation, fourth part consisted of the measurement of green process innovation and the last part consisted of measuring green image. Multivariate and univariate tests are used for analysis. The study can be of great use to the industrialists in enhancing their core competencies through green innovation and green image.
