Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo indagar acerca de las dificultades que se presentan al momento de definir la innovación e identificar sus ventajas y desventajas. Para ello, se realizó un análisis exploratorio y comparativo de la bibliografía existente en la temática, a fin de brindar pautas que permitan establecer una definición más certera de innovación. Asimismo, se reconocen las consecuencias más significativas de implementar políticas tendientes a su introducción en la sociedad. Finalmente, se expone la necesidad medir los resultados alcanzados por la implementación de dichas políticas y las discusiones suscitadas.
