Abstract

In the contemporary world plagued by the COVID pandemic, organisations have shifted to a virtual mode of operation. Due to the geographical barriers placed on the stakeholders of such organisations, it has become difficult to monitor the work proceedings like before. Especially in the realm of ethics, it is very difficult to keep a track on whether stakeholders are conducting their daily operations in a moral and rightful manner. It is necessary to have an assessment tool can help organisations measure the ethical orientation of stakeholders and take remedial actions if necessary. The Santa Clara ethics scale was introduced as a brief and cost-effective measure for assessing ethics. In the present study, a concise description of the original paper, followed by the conceptual analysis, is presented, to analyse how it can be used as an online ethical assessment tool in the COVID period and its aftermath.
