La profesión académica como alternativa para los profesionales en Ciencias Económicas: tensiones y condicionantes. Un estudio interpretativo en los docentes de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Sociales de la UNMDP

Abstract

Este trabajo describe los principales rasgos de la profesión académica, en el contexto de la sociedad del conocimiento y la innovación, con particular foco en las profesiones liberales, identificando características, similitudes y diferencias a partir de un análisis comparativo de este subgrupo respecto del conjunto de profesionales académicos del sistema universitario argentino. Procura avanzar en una indagación del perfil de quienes provienen de las ciencias económicas como disciplina de origen, identificando las motivaciones y condicionantes al ejercicio parcial o exclusivo de la profesión académica, considerando trayectorias biográficas y ocupacionales y el impacto de condicionantes sociales, contextuales (macropolíticos e institucionales), profesionales y personales, procurando interpretar las tensiones subyacentes a tal decisión.
