Abstract

Le festival d'Avignon, manifestation culturelle de renommee mondiale, suscite a l'heure actuelle de nombreuses polemiques a propos des retombees economiques que peut engendrer un tel evenement sur le bassin economique d'Avignon. Cette ville est en effet un point strategique situe au sud de l'Europe, qui a su developper son activite economique autour de l'agro-alimentaire, de l'industrie et de zones commerciales tres attractives telles que La Cristole, Cap Sud, le Pontet. Mais elle n'a pas encore realise un effort assez grand pour exploiter le festival comme une source supplementaire de son essor economique.
