El trabajo de aguja y sus perspectivas interpretativas: asimetrías en los intereses investigativos alrededor de las técnicas del bordado y el calado

Abstract

Este artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación documental realizada entre 2019 y 2020. El objetivo general fue caracterizar las perspectivas interpretativas alrededor de dos técnicas textiles (bordado2 y calado3 ). Los resultados se estructuran alrededor de periodos y lugares de producción, campos disciplinares que han abordado el tema, metodologías de investigación empleadas para la captura y análisis de información y la inclusión o ausencia de la perspectiva de género o feminista como ejes analíticos del trabajo de aguja. En conclusión, existe una asimetría de estudios dedicados al bordado como técnica textil, versus estudios enfocados en la técnica del calado, lo cual tiene efectos conceptuales y metodológicos a considerar en nuevas líneas de investigación.
