Abstract

Worker Displacement in the US/Mexico Border Region provides a comprehensive analysis of the social and economic impact of worker displacement in border communities. The contributors – experts from a variety of fields – evaluate the consequences of displacement on individuals, families and communities from various interdisciplinary perspectives. Issues that arise as a result of job displacement, such as health, training and education, are explored in-depth.
