Abstract

Este documento ilustra a situação de especial vulnerabilidade que atravessam as trabalhadoras domésticas na América Latina e no Caribe, destacando os impactos da atual crise provocada pelo COVID-19. Por sua vez, descreve as medidas impulsionadas pelos atores sociais e instituições nos países da região, dando visibilidade à questão de quanto ainda falta para que os direitos laborais das trabalhadoras domésticas sejam garantidos. Finalmente, é apresenta uma série de recomendações para o desenvolvimento de ações que mitiguem o impacto da crise sanitária, econômica e social para as trabalhadoras domésticas da América Latina e no Caribe.
