La macroeconomía kaleckiana: ¿una tradición de investigación?
[Kaleckian Macroeconomics: a research tradition?]

Abstract

En este trabajo se analiza si la macroeconomía kaleckiana puede ser considerada una tradición de pensamiento en el sentido dado por Larry Laudan (1978). Para ello se analiza la evolución del pensamiento teórico, mediante una revisión de la literatura teórica y empírica, partiendo desde la obra de Kalecki hasta los trabajos más recientes, pasando por los estudios de Steindl o Goodwin. Los autores han sido seleccionados por un método agrupador que consiste en identificar puntos comunes, en vez de diferencias. Además, se destacan los principales postulados y conceptos que son mayoritariamente compartidos dentro de esta tradición, y que constituyen un mapa conceptual de la cuestión. A continuación, se repasan y clasifican los estudios empíricos para determinar el objeto y resultados de las investigaciones aplicadas, esencialmente orientadas a establecer los regímenes de crecimiento en la mayoría de países. Ambas cuestiones, teoría y resultados, permiten concluir que se trata de una tradición de investigación en términos epistemológicos.
