Abstract

This study estimates and analyzes the levels of global technical efficiency in the thirteen distribution divisions of the Federal Electricity Commission (Comisión Federal de Electricidad) in Mexico. In this sense, we developed indicators of efficiency using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) models that allowed knowing the evolution and current situation of the Mexican electrical industry in terms of efficiency.
