Abstract

Los campesinos de la región conocida como los Altos de Morelos, en el centro de México, se han vuelto dependientes del uso de agroquímicos y plaguicidas para obtener una producción con la calidad y cantidad requeridas para acceder al mercado nacional agroalimentario. Los riesgos e impactos del empleo de tales productos en la salud de los campesinos, los trabajadores y sus familias, así como los daños al medio ambiente, están agravados por diferentes factores socioeconómicos y culturales que deben ser considerados para su análisis.
