Desarrollo regional y productividad de la industria colombiana

Abstract

RESUMEN El análisis de la evolución y comportamiento de la industria manufacturera asociados a los desequilibrios territoriales continúa ocupando un lugar importante en la investigación sobre crecimiento, desarrollo y geografía. Este trabajo tiene la pretensión de analizar cuál ha sido el comportamiento territorial de la industria manufacturera en Colombia en el marco de la teoría del crecimiento y la geografía económica, utilizando, además, técnicas de convergencia para determinar la ampliación o reducción de las desigualdades en los niveles de desarrollo regional, medidas por la productividad industrial y asociadas a los modelos económicos adoptados en Colombia en los últimos 30 años. ABSTRACT The manufacturing industries behavior and evolution analysis related to territorial disequilibrium, still occupies an important place in growth, development and geography research. This work wishes to analyze the territorial behavior of Colombia s manufacturing industry using, as framework, the growth and economical geography theory and, also, convergence techniques for determining the inequalities increase or reduction at a regional development level, measured by industrial productivity and associated to adopted economical models in Colombia for the past 30 years.
