Abstract

ABSTRACT The fact that in Spain there are no official statistics of gross disposable income in the municipalities together with the need to know the economic and social situation of the different territories for the planning of a balanced development in each of them, has led to an increase of work on the ground municipal to cover the information gap of one of the main features economic, as is the gross disposable income of households (GDIH), to assess and analyze the economic and social progress of the different local territories. This work intended to provide a reliable statistical information of such macromagnitud, through the estimate of a model space of the income in the geographical scope municipal using techniques of econometrics space incorporating the characteristics of interdependence and spatial heterogeneity and, therefore, with more robust compared to the techniques of econometrics conventional.
