Kereskedelmi árrés és ártranszmisszió a magyar sertéshúspiacon
[Commercial margins and price transmission on the Hungarian pigmeat market]

Abstract

Az elmúlt évtizedekben a termelőtől a fogyasztóig tartó kínálati lánc kapcsolatrendszerének tanulmányozása az élelmiszer-gazdasági rendszerek hatékonyságának, illetve a piacon uralkodó versenyhelyzet elemzésének a népszerű eszközévé vált. Noha gazdag szakirodalom foglalkozik a különböző országok esetében a termelői és a fogyasztói árak közötti kapcsolattal, átmeneti gazdaságra csak egyetlenegy kutatás (Bojnec [2002]) vizsgálta a kereskedelmi árrést és ártranszmissziót. Általánosan elfogadott hipotézis, hogy a szocialista gazdaságokból örökölt torzított piacok, az árfeltáró rendszerek működésének a hiányosságai és az előre nem látható kormányzati beavatkozások miatt az átmeneti gazdaságokban az árrés nagyobb, mint a fejlett országokban. A tanulmány célja, hogy megvizsgálja kereskedelmi árrés és az aszimmetrikus ártranszmisszió alakulását a magyar sertéspiacon. Elemzésünk eredményei azt mutatják, hogy a termelői és fogyasztói árak kointegráltak, illetve a termelői árak hosszú távon árak gyengén exogének a fogyasztói árakhoz képest. A homogenitási korlátozásokat vizsgáló strukturális próbák eredményei arra utalnak, hogy a hazai sertéshúspiacon az árképzési stratégia nem versenyzői. Az ártranszmissziós elemzés szerint - az általános hiedelmekkel szemben - az ártranszmisszió a magyar sertéshúspiacon szimmetrikus.* Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) kód: Q13, D12, D4.
