A biodízel-termelés gazdasági és fenntarthatósági vizsgálata szakirodalom-elemzéssel
[Systematic literature review on the economic dimension and sustainability aspects of biodiesel production]

Abstract

A Föld korlátozott fosszilis energiaforrásai miatt egyre nagyobb az igény a megújuló erőforrásokra, például a biodízelre. Jelen tanulmány szisztematikus szakirodalmi áttekintéssel vizsgálta meg a biodízel-előállítás gazdasági és fenntarthatósági kérdéseit. E folyamat során 56 releváns tanulmányt elemeztünk összesen 16 054 beazonosított cikkből. Minden tanulmány egyetértett abban, hogy az első generációs technológiával kapcsolatban több aggály is felmerül, azonban a magas termelési költségek miatt a további generációk az ár tekintetében egyelőre nem lehetnek versenyképesek. Vannak azonban ígéretes alternatívák, mint például a szennyvízalapú mikroalgák, a zsír-olaj-zsiradék, amennyiben az alapanyag költsége kevesebb mint 799 dollár/tonna, valamint a települési szilárd hulladékból kinyerhető rövid láncú zsírsavra épülő technológia, ahol az alapanyag ingyenesen áll rendelkezésre. A jelenlegi magas kőolajárak (0,80 dollár/liter) következtében ugyan gazdaságos a biodízel előállítása, de a melléktermékek (elsősorban a glicerin) megfelelő hasznosítása ekkor is elengedhetetlen, amit csak a biofinomítók tudnak megfelelően kezelni. A fenntarthatóságot néha csak költséghatékonysági kérdésként kezelik, de a helyzet komplex megközelítése egyre gyakoribb. A fenntarthatóság minimális elemei a környezeti, társadalmi és a gazdasági pillérek. Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) kód: Q16, Q56.
