México y la nueva arquitectura financiera internacional

Abstract

Este ensayo revisa las consecuencias nacionales e internacionales que trajo consigo la crisis financiera de México de 1994-95 y analiza las medidas que se aplicaron para la recuperación de la economía mexicana. La aportación principal de este trabajo es que considera a esta crisis como el inicio de la reforma al patrón estructural del Sistema Financiero Internacional, el cual ha sido un proceso de una serie de crisis, que aún continúa, unas que se han propagado a otras regiones del orbe, como el caso de México (1994), Asia (1997) y Rusia (1998), además de otras observadas en economías emergentes grandes en donde no se propagaron los efectos con impactos tan fuertes, como el caso de Brasil (1998), Turquía (1999) y Argentina (2001-03), además de la crisis financiera Norteamericana 2008 con efectos en todo el mundo./ This paper revises the national and international consequences that brought the financial crisis of Mexico 1994-95 and it analyzes the measures that were applied for the recovery of the Mexican economy. The main contribution of this work is that it considers to this crisis like the beginning from the reformation to the structural pattern of the International Financial System, which has been a process of a crisis series that continues still, some that they have spread to other regions of the orb, as the case of Mexico (1994), Asia (1997) and Russia (1998), besides other observed ones in big emergent economies where didn’t spread the effects with impacts so strong, as the case of Brazil (1998), Turkey (1999) and Argentina (2001-03), besides the North American financial crisis 2008 with impacts in the entire world.
