Türkiye’de illere göre dinamik yığılma ekonomilerinin belirlenmesi: Panel veri analizi

Abstract

Kent ekonomileri için nüfusun ve ekonomik etkinliklerin belirli mekanlarda yığılmaları ve böylece oluşan iktisadi coğrafya örüntüsünün niteliği büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu nedenle, kentlerin mekansal özelliklerini belirleyen yığılma ekonomisi türlerinden hangisinin etkin olduğunun saptanması gerekmektedir. Bilindiği gibi yığılma ekonomileri statik ve dinamik dışsallıklar bağlamında ele alınmaktadır. Çalışmanın temel amacı, Türkiye’de imalat sanayinde illere göre dinamik dışsallıklar bağlamında yığılmaların belirlenmesidir. Bu amaçla, üretim fonksiyonu yaklaşımı kullanılarak her ilin iktisadi coğrafya örüntüsünü belirleyen dinamik yığılma ekonomileri olan MAR, Porter ve Jacobs dışsallıklarının tahminine yönelik ampirik bir çalışma ortaya koyulmuştur. 1985-2000 döneminde illerin imalat sanayilerinin Ulusal Sanayi Sınıflaması (ISIC) Revize 2’ye göre düzenlenmiş panel veri seti kullanılmış, dinamik panel veri tahmin teknikleri uygulanmıştır.
