Marxismo-leninismo y participación política: papel de la educación en Cuba

Abstract

En este trabajo abordamos aspectos acerca de la participación política en el desarrollo de nuestra sociedad a partir de la práctica transformadora del pueblo, teniendo como sustento ideológico la teoría marxista leninista a lo largo de un proceso de casi 60 años de construcción socialista. La Revolución Cubana apareció en el escenario mundial, como una experiencia “suicida†para algunos y como un “faro de esperanza†para otros. Su base radica en la participación política de los ciudadanos, en el papel activo de los individuos, hombres y mujeres que conforman la unidad de nuestro pueblo, durante los diferentes momentos de su desarrollo como seres sociales histórico- concretos en la cual la Educación de las amplias masas ha jugado un rol esencial en el desarrollo de una cultura general de todo el pueblo, lo que ha posibilitado crear las bases para el logro de una participación política efectiva en apoyo a la obra creadora de la Revolución y sustentada en la doctrina de Marx, Engels y Lenin.
