Incertidumbre hídrica y prima de riesgo en la agricultura de la cuenca del Segura

Abstract

En este artículo se utiliza el concepto de prima de riesgo para valorar el coste de la incertidumbre hídrica de un agricultor adverso al riesgo en la cuenca del Segura. La estimación obtenida proporcionaría el incremento en la disposición a pagar por un recurso más seguro. Este cálculo puede ser tenido en cuenta por las autoridades a la hora de decidir la realización o no de determinadas obras hidráulicas. También sería de utilidad para las compañías de seguro, pues la variabilidad hídrica puede ser un componente a incluir en un seguro agrario combinado.
