Abstract

International business activities were usually the domain of large and well known companies. A new trend reported that even start-ups internationalize their operations on a worldwide stage right from their inception. Such firms are called Born Globals. Quite famous examples for that kind of companies are large corporations like Amazon, Logitech or Acer. This study analyses the phenomenon in general, explains the most important factors for their success and shows how Born Globals realize their international strategy of growth.
