Abstract

Big Data (or data intelligence) is becoming very important in the health field. The methodology is based on the systematic review of the literature. The results allow us to conclude that, despite the large amount of information collected in health processes, its exploitation is low. Big Data will have a positive impact on the improvement of health care, being very useful for medical students and health personnel. However, it will be necessary to strengthen personal data protection measures.
